Advocacy​
Our advocacy team works hard to bring the message of the United Nations to our elected officials. And we'd love to have you join us.
​
The East Bay Chapter covers six different Congressional districts and we also work with our two state Senators. We arrange in-district constituent meetings with our elected officials, complete national advocacy asks from UNA headquarters, and participate in the annual UNA Lobby Day on Capitol Hill. We also work closely with the Chapter's programming committee to ensure our advocacy message is reflected in regular events.

The Chapter's Advocacy Committee is highly active and always looking for new voices.
Young Professionals
Since 2018, the East Bay Chapter has been working hard to build a robust and dynamic network of internationally-minded young professionals.
​
Led by an energetic team, the Young Professionals network continues to grow and develop. Issue-based community events and networking opportunities like (happy hours) form the backbone of the group's work.
​
As the Young Professionals network develops further, additional events and opportunities will be added. Help us build an engaging group by joining today.
Chapter Leadership​
UNA East Bay is lucky to have a team of dedicated Chapter leaders to handle all its operating needs.

But we could always use your help.
​
With open positions on key committees and a handful of Board memberships to fill each year, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and help us build our program.
​
Time commitment for leadership roles varies by position but is always reasonable. So if you'd like to share your expertise, build your resume, or work with inspiring individuals, reach out and ask about Chapter leadership positions today.
