Celebrate the UN’s 81st Anniversary & the 61st Annual Flag Raising at this FREE event. Enjoy the UN flag-raising ceremony, a spectacular dragon and lion dance, and a parade of UN and member-state flags proudly carried by local Junior ROTC students and community members. The celebration will also feature music, singing, and performances by Bay Area multicultural artists. The light blue United Nations flag features a world map surrounded by olive branches, symbolizing global peace and unity.
