A Report from The Berkeley Group (TBG)

the berkeley group

Given the challenge to help UNA East Bay Chapter "build its human resources capacity to better realize the UN's mission and goals,"a UC Berkeley undergraduate consulting team (TBG), recently presented their recommendations to the Chapter Board. Using interviews of current and former volunteers and surveys of the Chapter's Board of Directors, its members and other community supporters, the team found that "the chapter lacks a solid volunteer and membership recruiting and retention strategy."

The report recommends more outreach to a college and high school student community, drawing them into membership and volunteerism and bringing fresh ideas and advanced technical skills to the Chapter. For the full report click here.

Chapter Student Interships

High school and college students with concerns about the global challenges we face today and an interest in doing something about them are invited to serve as UNA Student Alliance Interns with the East Bay Chapter of the United Nations Association.
